Roadside repair of cracked, cut, and chafed air lines on tractors and trailers. We carry the hose, fittings, and tools to put you back under air on the shoulder.
Call 866.769.2580 Send a Request →We repair and replace the air hoses that run the length of the tractor and trailer. That includes the supply and service lines under the chassis, the spring brake plumbing at the wheel ends, and the suspension and accessory lines feeding bag valves and dump valves on the trailer.
Most calls are a section replacement at the point of failure with a fresh union or push-to-connect fitting. When a run is chafed end to end, we replace the whole line.
The air system runs the brakes, the parking brake spring chambers, and on most rigs the suspension. A bleeding line drops system pressure faster than the compressor can recover, the low air buzzer comes on, and the truck stops moving when the spring brakes set. A chafed line that has not failed yet is on a countdown. Getting it spliced or replaced before it lets go beats a tow off the shoulder.
Cold snaps crack rubber hose that has gone hard with age. Frame rail vibration wears a groove through a line where it crosses a bracket. Road debris kicked up on I-70 can sever a trailer line clean. Tight turns into a yard pinch the supply line between the cab and the fifth wheel. We see all four every week.
Air brake hose condition is inspected under FMCSA 393.45. A line with exposed reinforcement fabric, an audible leak, or a section bulging under pressure is grounds for an out of service writeup. A clean repair with proper fittings and a secured run brings the unit back to spec so you can clear the violation and roll.
Pricing depends on hose run, fittings, and distance. Tell us where you are and what is leaking. We will quote on the call.
