What Tire Plug and Patch Covers

We repair tread punctures on tractor and trailer tires roadside. That means a plug, an internal patch, or a combination plug and patch in the damaged area so you can roll legally and safely to your next stop.

Right now we do not carry tire inventory and we do not swap casings. Full tire replacement is coming soon. If you have a destroyed casing, a sidewall failure, or a tread separation, call us first. We will tell you honestly whether a repair will hold or whether you need a roll truck.

Why It Matters on Semis

A slow leak on a steer turns into a blowout on the next hill. On trailer duals, a small puncture left to bleed throws load onto the partner tire and cooks it from the inside. A proper plug and patch done at the right spot in the tread closes the hole and lets the tire run the rest of its life on the casing.

The repair is fast. Waiting for a flatbed and a road call from a national chain is not.

When Drivers Call Us

The usual reasons: a screw or roofing nail picked up on a merge ramp, a slow loss of pressure noticed at the next fuel stop, debris through the construction zones on I-35, a tire that aired up Friday and went soft by Saturday morning. We also get calls from drivers parked at weigh stations on I-70 with a DOT writeup for low pressure or a visible puncture.

DOT Tread Depth

Federal rules require a minimum tread depth of 4/32 inch on steer tires and 2/32 inch on all other wheel positions under FMCSA 393.75. A repair brings the tire back into service only when the casing is sound and the tread already meets that spec. If the tire is at or near the limit, or if the puncture is in the sidewall or shoulder, the legal call is replacement. We will say so on the phone before we roll.
